Description
A watercolor experiment... I'm still trying to get used to painting. For this one I used only two colors, a very dark blue (it's undiluted on his nose) and a bright orange. Actually, I'm rather happy with this one! As always, critique is appreciated. Particularly any tips about using watercolors. Thanks!

A great experiment! I love how you added different shapes of one water color, arranged them sorted by tunes and out you get a perfect lion head.
It still has got the dynamic inspiring aura of a sketch without looking unfinished.
It's a bit sad, that the dark blue is not as bright as the other colors... and that the contrast between warm and cold, which gives this painting so much tension and makes it so excting, is disturbed a bit by some parts in which it got mixed with the lion's fur color.
Nevertheless, I love this one, beacuse it has got character and fire.
